Here's the beginning of what will surely be a lengthy series of sketch updates featuring my Figure Drawing homework. Each week, I'll post what I've done much like I did with my sketches from Intro to Animation. So hopefully y'all can enjoy these. I probably won't post much of my in-class work, cause a lot of it is garbage and it's all on 18x24 inch newsprint, but I may let you see an occasional study if I happen to make something particularly interesting.
Most of these sketches were done during the Wednesday night open gesture drawing session which the animation club puts on every week. Basically, it's just a bunch of animation students who get together and take turns posing for each other. It's a lot of fun. You get a lot of different poses and body types in a short period of time and there's a lot of entertainment value just in hearing what comes out of some of those guys' mouths. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Btw, what room are the drawing sessions held in? I know it's from 7PM-9PM, which is during my work shift... Gotta try and get a Wednesday off sometime... -_-;
