I was amazed by this piece, one of the reasons being because it reminds me of one of my dreams, when I became part bird and flew of the balcony of my apartment into the sunset. The movement you captured here is amazing, everything gives a sense of frozen speed and the eagle taking off (at least that's how it looks to me) is so amazingly powerful and dynamic. The flamboyant palette you used gives a rather powerful but also peaceful atmosphere. This beauty is going straight to my faves
This is fantastic! I saw this image a while ago, and meant to comment on it, but I lost the image and totally forgot about it. But, I'm really happy I found it, for this is superb work!
The brushstrokes are amazing and set the mood, and the way you have the hair blowing with the grass really stands out, along with that magnificent eagle. It must be great to have those kinds of dreams, even if they're few and in between. It's much better than constantly having dreams about people killing you, or you killing people.
This work is very satisfying to look at, good job!
i bet it was still an awesome dream, and it's definitely a great piece of art. the colors are wonderful. i especially love the long strokes and lack of fine detail. i could tell it was a dream you had before i even looked the artist's comments. you did a great job!
WOW, this is just plain amazing. Even though I didn't have the dream myself, I feel like this captures the right dream atmosphere. Surreal and heavily atmospheric but I don't believe for a second that I'm not actually there. Dream illustration is sorta my favorite thing to see, I get mad at myself for not doing it more often.
So yeah, this is stunningly beautiful. I love the sense of movement in the blowy bits of stuff and the hair.
Thanks a ton! I really like dream illustration as well. They just feel so inherently original, even if it's one of those dreams that a lot of people seem to have. And I think, in a way, it's easier to recreate a dream image than something just thought out, because you've already seen it before. But I'd love to see some of your dream pictures too. *wonders what strangeness goes on in Dumpysaurus's head during the night* Hmmm...
